BREAKFAST MEETINGS

C4B meets weekly for breakfast at 7:15 on Tuesdays. The normal venue is the Fleece. The meeting starts with networking among the group while having tea or coffee. At about 7:30 we start the meeting, serving ourselves from the cold breakfast bar with cereals, fruit and rolls. The warm breakfast arrives around 8:10.

Most weeks we have a 10-minute speaker, normally someone from the group giving a presentation of their product or services. There is always the opportunity to discuss your current business issues and bounce ideas off each other. After the speaker we each have one minute to keep our colleagues up to date on what we are doing at the moment. After the members have spoken, any guests are given a chance to introduce themselves.

The main purpose of our club is referral exchange. We are not selling to each other, although this happens, rather each member is a sales person for all the other members. When they see a friend, aquaintence or customer who needs a service that someone in the group provides, out come the visting cards and you have a referral. These are then passed on as a referral slip at the next breakfast meeting.

To encourage referrals, each referral slip has a copy which is put into a draw. The winner of the draw gets a bottle of wine. There is a draw every week.
